Charra wasn't here yet. The beginning of the year, and her best friend was late, probably whizzing around on some ridiculous scooter as she sat in boring 'ol Hogwarts and did, well, absolutely nothing. Taking a deep breath, she continued reading her text book. Oh well, wasn't her problem. Oione was off somewhere, as well, not that that mattered either. The blonde probably didn't even remember the tiny little girl she'd met for a short period of time last year...

Oione burst into the library, looking highly unOione-ish; pale, wide-eyed and disheveled as though she had just witnessed something dreadful or went mad. Or both. She was running blindly through corridors, frantically searching for someone she could talk to, since she felt as though she was about to explode on the inside. Bloody Irish bastard. It was all his fault, as always.
But it never was quite like that, they bantered over meaningless things, but it was only to feel the empowering rush of anger. And now, now she was scared, it was a strange, unknown feeling to her and she didn't like it at all. Oione just entered the first room at the end of the corridor, not really caring if it was the library or not. Madam Pince gave her a shocked look, not that she noticed. Her eyes landed on Chang and she practically sighed with relief. Chang was one of those reasonable Gryffindors, she'd know what to do. She hadn't known her for a really long time, but at the moment she didn't feel she could trust anyone, not when your closest friend had just stabbed you in the back. Oione walked up to her table and sat down in front of Aether "I....you...we need to talk" she said finally.

Aether jumped at the familiar voice. She almost smiled, Oione was secretly one of her favorite people. But calmly and smoothly, she asked "About what?" She truned around to look at the lovely blonde behind her. Aside from Charra, Oione was the only other person who seemed close to her friend. Seth Silver was... well... they got a long in a strange way, but they WERE NOT friends.

"About what?" "About that idiot who will get me doomed" Oione said breathlessly."He'll probably get himself doomed too. Serves him right, mind you" Which was quite true. True-ish. It was bound to happen sooner or later, but Seth gave it a disturbing speed. If she was seventeen and of age in the Wizarding World, there would be a chance for her, she could leave school and apply for an Auror position, go through the training and become one. But not like this, not when she was fifteen, with absolutely no way to go. For the first time in her life Oione had no idea what to do and it scared the living hell out of her, she had no plan. And for the first time she was not torn between her family and her own beliefs, but between her own beliefs and Seth Silver. It was driving her crazy.

"Oh. him." Aether raised an eyebrow. Seth was not one of her favorite people to talk about. She took her anger out on him, let herself half abhor him, all because that was the most attention she deigned to give him. "What did he do now?" She asked sullenly, but with an undersurge of protectiveness. "Didn't hurt you, did he?" She knew the two still secretly liked each other, but for some reason they could never come out and say it, at least, not say it and be believed when they did....

Oione blinked several times; as though she had been unconcious and Aether slapped her in order to bring her round. "No, no"Oione said softly, regaining back some of her well-known smoothness around people. She wasn't sure to whom she was lying exactly. To Aether or to herself. He hadn't hurt her physically, which in Oione's opinion wasn't as reassuring as it sounded, since she would rather get into a duel with him than argue upon such a delicate matter.
"Well, he kind of gotten us into trouble" she said simply looking down, finding the the desk particularly interesting at the moment

Aether raised a black, sleek-yet-uncared-for eyebrow at her table companion. "Sit, then. Frankly, I'm used to looking up at people, but not when they're that high up. It makes me antsy." She knew all about Oione and Seth, had even helped Charra with her insane scheme to make Oione and Seth more than love/hate friends, and instead form it into a full-blown love/hate "sexual" relationship, not meaning exactly that sex HAD to be involved, but that it was something possible in the relationship. Aether had no idea what she had been thinking; Charra always made her a bit stupid she supposed.

With a sigh of resignation Oione did as she was told to and sat down. She had never been much of a library fan, truth to be told. It was always so quiet in there and it unnerved Oione; perhaps it was because she wasn't used to it as she and Seth were yelling at each-other half of the time or talking at least a tone too loud.
'Frankly, I'm used to looking up at people, but not when they're that high up. It makes me antsy The girl nodded, fully understanding Aether's point. Oione had always been a little touchy about her rather miserable height; her parents and brother being tall and willowy. Having inherited the second trait she had been refused the first one, Oione was small and slender and she loathed it, how possibly could you gain enough respect and be feared when you didn't tower over people? "I don't like that myself" she said shortly, desperately searching for a light topic that wouldn't even remotely connected with Seth Silver since currently everything involving that particular Slytherin made her want to murder kittens.
((I'm so sorry >.<))

((ooc- np hun. been busy anyways. heehee. ps, i got a ducky. it's so funny))
"Uh huh. And did Seth make you feel that way or all of a sudden do you feel like maybe this isn't a good topic to be on?" Aether was feeling suprisingly sharp today. Perhaps it was the lack of Charra's fuzzy thought infecting her. "I could hurt him if you want... I'd offered before." aehter shrugged, pretending to lend more attention to her book.
