Your Character
Name: Nikhol Rihanne Lestrange
Age: 17
Year: 7
Birthday: March 15
Nationality: British, of course. :]
Hometown: Surrey, London, England
Blood-type: Pure, what else?
Wand: 14" Ebony, Grindylow Hair
Personality:
To summarize the complexities that come with Nikhol, she's cold, cruel, manipulative, cunning, an amazing liar, and more than a tad bit bossy.
Addressing the cold and cruel aspect of the girl, it's not obvious when looking at her. She gives off a sweet sense of happiness, one that is only banished when the girl opens her mouth. She loves to comment, usually in a demeaning and criticizing manner, and that's on her very best day. She'll leave her best friend out in the rain if it somehow benefitted her, metaphor or not. She picks on her brothers because they're not her, to put it simply. She'll analyze everyone and everything for what she considers faults, then point them out loudly to the people around her. She hasn't really had the chance to excercise her ability to be as cruel as she is sure she can be, merely because of her young age. But she plans to immediately align with whomever is in power at the time (as long as they share the same beliefs as she does; that muggles are useless and unworthy to walk the planet), and prove that she's just as good as those before her.
Nikhol has always been manipulative for as long as she could ever remember. She would always pretend to be nice to her younger brothers, only to turn around and ask them to get this and that for her. This applied strongly to her friends as well. She'd always pretend to be nice to everyone that wanted to friend her, only to have them on her side when she needed them. If they actually seemed to be worth her time, she'd let them in, actually calling them her friends. Though, honestly, does Nikhol sound like the type of girl who has actual friends?
Cunning and the ability to lie through teeth is the cliche Slytherin trait. Almost every one of them has it, especially Nikhol. She can trick just about anyone that doesn't have the ability to check and see if she's telling the truth, and she always uses this talent to her advantage. She's proud of this, which is another aspect of the girl that defines her ultimitely to the Slytherin house. In any case, she's tricked her fair share of people just to get something for herself.
Bossiness is natural in every first-born. They're just used to bossing their younger siblings around. This goes especially for Nikhol. Though she has no younger siblings, she's used to being the one in charge. She's bossed around the maids and servants, taking advantage of the fact they are there to serve her and they must comply with her every demand and wish, no matter how ridiculous or retarded it is.
Hobbies/Interests: Nikhol loves to practice spells, even create simple ones every now and then.

Appearance:
Deeply dark brunette curled locks cascade down the sides of the girl's face. Occasionally, though quite rare, Nikki will have a charm or two on her hair, either changing the color or the style. Usually, the girl is against changes toward her hair, for she likes the look and feel it is at now. Most would say that Nikhol is a spitting image of her mother, which she would repeat with profound pride. Nikhol is utterly thrilled her hair turned out to be that of her mother's rather than the mousy brown her father possessed.
Dark and clouded brown eyes stare back at those who dare to look in them. The color, too, is that of Bellatrix Lestrange. Rodolphus's are a steel blue, one that does not reflect the young girl's or his wife's. This is only one of the many features that define Nikhol as most indefinitely Bellatrix Lestrange's daughter. In fact, looking only at Nikhol, it isn't quite so obvious that Rodolphus had half a say in how their daughter would look.
Janelle's oval-shaped face displays her dark eyes in an even eviller way, if possible. The shape casts shadows over the orbs, making them darker and even more mysterious. Perched upon this face is a ski-sloped nose resting atop of a perfectly shaped mouth, which is almost naturally formed into the shape of a smirk. Yes, the only Lestrange girl certainly does flaunt her pure-blood pride rather prominently.
The green-hooded girl is rather tall, but not necessarily compared to those her age. She stands at about 5'9", a good height for a seventeen year old, and is quite proud of this. Her mother was just as tall, standing at 5'10 as a final height. The entirety of Bella's family stood rather tall, as did Rodolphus's. It was only a matter of time before Nikhol finally reached the 6 foot she was sure she would. Her curves are noticeable, giving her that oh-so sought after hourglass shape every girl works hard to acheive. To say Nikhol didn't work for this would be a lie. She was born with the shape, of course, but maintaining it was just as hard as getting it. She absolutely detests muggle clothes, and she would never scar her body with such a thing. Instead, she chooses the wizard brands that can be found in various shops in Diagon Alley, when she's not in her school robes. Though, with the strict rules of Hogwarts, it's rare to catch anyone in anything that's not school-related.
Her skin is rather pale and she can never get a tan, no matter what she does. Though, lucky for her pale skin, she rarely gets any type of blemish, and when she does, it's small and hardly noticeable. Just another gene that the infamous Bellatrix Lestrange passed down to her daughter.

History:
March 15th, 3:55 PM. The moment Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange will always remember the day their daughter and only child was born. The overzealous parents were already pointing out characteristics of themselves (though Bella had the upperhand in this) in the little girl in their arms. Of course, the birth was out of the home of the Lestranges, simply because it was not safe at all to go to St. Mungo's. The excited parents kept pointing out features on little Nikhol, only to later hear from the maids who specialized in nursing that the dark hair may or may not change, the facial shape isn't permanent, and such things. Regardless, it was at that moment that Bellatrix Lestrange had decided that this was her new life, and she'd fend for it until the end.
As soon as Nikhol was taken home, the Malfoy's rushed in to greet the new girl. Rod's family was no where to be seen; no one had heard from them in over 30 years. Nikhol had always grown up feeling that she was adored by the Malfoys and her mother, but only thought of in a minor sort by her father. She wasn't entirely far off; Rod was admittedly jealous that Bellatrix was now devoting her attention to her daughter and the Dark Lord, instead of to Rod and the Dark Lord. Nikhol didn't care that her father was jealous; she loved Bella and the Malfoys more than she was sure she could ever love Rodolphus.
Bella always had fawned over the girl. Nikhol was spoiled greatly by her, getting all the attention and toys she ever could have needed, let alone wanted. Anything that would satisfy her heart's desire was given to her (usually it was something materialistic), which Nikhol took in without even bothering to thank whomever was giving her something new. Rodolphus had, for the most part, disowned Nikhol by this time, leaving Bella to raise Nikhol on her own. Bella was oblivious to Rod's cold behavior, nor did she care; she loved Nikhol enough for the both of them.
Many times Nikhol had used her mother as a threat to her father. The two of them would argue as though there were no tomorrow. Each of these little arguements would end abpruptly when Nikhol would spill the line, "I'm going to tell my mother on you, then you'll get it". This would alway spike jealousy in Rod, which led to him leaving the room, letting Nikhol have the feeling she had bested over him. She used this line in her early years at Hogwarts, until she found she was too old to use the "mommy's little girl" act on everyone. Nikhol was never completely evil, per say. She'd never actually attempted to kill anyone, though she would have liked to many, many times. Her mother worked as a nice substitute for death of the unfortunate people who happened to get in her way.
While most children Nikhol knew well were suffering with things like attempted suicide, Nikhol would much rather torment her father with the thought of her being around forever. It was somehow threatening to Rod to know his daughter would be around a lot longer than him. Being evil and strangely twisted, Rod could have just killed Nikhol before the little girl had gone off to Hogwarts, which Nikhol was sure her father dreamt of doing, but she was always under her mother's protection; protection that couldn't be crippled as long as Bellatrix Lestrange was alive.
By the age of eleven, a letter was received from Hogwarts. No surprise; Nikhol already was showing signs of magic by then, and her parents both went to Hogwarts themselves. The girl was sent off to Hogwarts, even though her mother was reluctant in letting Nikhol go off alone, and immediately sorted into Slytherin. The hat had barely touched the soft brunette hair before the shout was heard in the school, just as her mother and father's sorting had been. She took her place haughtily at the Slytherin table, boasting about riches and other luxuries the moment she sat down. She was legendary and charismatic, making her immediate attempt to dominate the popular crowd the moment she took her place at the Slytherin table. Of course, there were questions from the teachers about the wherabout of her parents, but Nikhol would never tell. Not right now, anyways.
Nikhol's memory was profoundly astounding. She could remember everything anyone said to her in her first year, which she used to her advantage in her second. The sequel year was a bit less exciting than the first go had been, but she was saving up the excitement for years to come. She was happy and jubilant, for she fit in and was one of the more popular and known Slytherins.
Her happy attitude would continue to follow her, even if the child-like happiness was slowly turning into pride and conceitedness. She was at home, and she knew she'd always be accepted here, if only by her Slytherin companions. Though, in her third year, something horrible happened. A teacher caught Nikhol off guard, slipping a drop of Verita Serum into Nikhol's morning drink. Nikhol had unsuspectedly finished off the juice, then was later taken to a private room, where she was questioned about her home life. Faster than she knew it, the Ministry swept in, catching Bella and Rod off-guard, taking them in to Azkaban easy.
Her fourth year was when Nikhol became noticeably different from the rest of the crowd. She was more brooding, and she wasn't as social as she was when she first entered the school. Instead, she kept to herself and snapped at those who dared to talk to her. It was official - something strange was happening in the Lestrange household, and there was no denying it. This attitude only worsened by fifth year.
In Janelle's sixth year, word got out that her parents were taken for being Death Eaters. Of course, this was old news to Janelle; she had covered this up since her 3rd year. Because of her amazing ability to lie, she was able to hide this information, even if she couldn't control her anger toward the Ministry and the teachers that had taken her and forced her to confess this information. Whenever people had inquired about her home life, she'd either shrug the question away, or avoid it entirely. But now in her sixth year she was getting pity looks from even the Gryffindors, which angered the girl even more. Things weren't looking bright for the teen.
Now it's Nikhol's seventh year, and she's looking to start up the life as she wants to know it. She's looking for those in power; she's thinking about who to associate with, and she's certainly wondering about each of her friends. Will her situation and attitude continue to get worse and worse?
