Your Character:
Name: Natalija (nah-tah-lee-ah) Snejana (snez-J-ah-nah) Lestrange
Age: 17
Year: 7th
Birthday: March 15th
Nationality: British, French
Hometown: Surrey, London, England
Blood-type: Pure, what else?
Wand: 14" Ebony, Stained- Basilisk Venom
Personality:
Natalija, while she looks different to her twin in appearance, their personality matches exactly, down to the very last insult. Natalija is cruel, cold, cocky, egotistic, manipulative, cunning, and always, always gets her way. She has a way with words that most Slytherins can only dream of. She can snap back so fast if can make your head spin. She often "dissects" people with her sister, picking and pulling at them until they breakdown and cry, literally. They analyze every flaw, every tiny detail and force them to make adjustments, if they know what's good for them. Natalija never just takes what she's given if she knows she can get something better. She has absolute no problem with lying, cheating, stealing, and betraying those close to her to get what she wants. Once she has set her mind to something, nothing, and I mean nothing, can get into her way. If something or someone, for that matter, needs to be removed or taken care of, she'll either force someone else to take care of it if she decides it is not important enough for herself to deal with, or take action herself.
Many people believe that the Lestrange girl's have a cold heart, or none at all, for it defiantly seems that way. Natalija rarely shows affection or even general interest unless something is in it for her. She'll suck up to the Professor she hates most, befriend a stubborn Hufflepuff or even...a Potter, if she had to. She has a small circle of people she was given the worthy name of "my friends" and will open up to them if they are like her, and they have gained her trust. Natalija is not one to trust or believe easily. She hates change and everyone knows that one word can change everything. She is constantly aware of what the people around her are talking about, and is quick to protect her and her sister's social title.
At a young age Natalija and her sister realized how scared some people actually were of them. They found this highly amusing of course and would often boss their servants around, ordering and demanding them to do difficult tasks, or to do silly little chores the girls could do themselves. They are both extremely manipulative, sly, smart and cruel girls. They have a mean, loud sense of humor and have no problem with creating big scenes or making their presence known. They us most of their god even assets to their advantage.
If you don't watch yourself, they might take everything you have.
Hobbies/Interests: Natalija, having heard of her mothers extraordinary dueling ability from others and Bella herself, has become immensely interested in the subject and can often be found reading spells up in textbooks or practicing them on their servants.
Strengths:
//Problem solving.
//Manipulating
//Twisting ones words
//Lying
//Cheating
//Dueling
Weaknesses:
//Taking others into consideration.
//Thinking of others.
//The "Family" subject.
//Authority
Fears:
//Change.
//Drowing.
//Loosing those close to her/family members.
//Loosing Power.
Appearance:
A spitting image of her mother Bellatrix, like her twin sister Nikhol, yet most people find no problem with telling the two apart. Natalija, a good six inches above the average womens height (5'5") and two inches above her sister (5'9") she stands at a strong 5'11". She towers over almost all the girls in her age group, in the school, most of the professors, and even many of the guys. She uses this to her advantage, to intimate others. Unlike Bellatrix and Nikhol, Natalija to her disappointment did not inherited the perfect "curvy, hourglass shape" body she has always wished to have, and envied her sister of. While Natalija is taller then Nikhol, she weighs less. She has a small, very thin frame and a small chest. Her legs are never ending and slim, making it a brutal task to find pants that are long enough for her. Most people don't even realize how tall she is when she is sitting down, because her legs are so much taller then her torso. Her height and body shape has been something that has annoyed Nat for many years, although she has learned to accept herself for the most part.
"Cheekbones like geometry and eyes like sin," the phrase that has often been used to describe the Lestrange girl. Her face is heart shaped, and her chin slightly pointed. She has perfect, high and defined cheekbones, something she thinks she inherited from both sides of the family. While Bella's cheekbones were high they were not defined before Azkaban, although Rodolphus's were. They are one of the features that sets her apart from Nikki, and one of her favorite. Nat and Nikki share their mother's eyes color, a sharp, deep brown. Although they differ in shape. Natalija's eyes are almond shaped and piercing, while Nikki's are larger and trimmed with long lashes.
Thick dead straight, striking dark brown hair hangs down Natalija's back and around her smooth pale face, ending at her waist. She leaves her hair down, and rarely if ever ties it up in public. She throws it into a messy bun before she goes to bed, for she hates the feeling of lying on her hair. She has a straight fringe which has been her sort of her "trademark" hair style since she was 13. It ends just below her arched eyebrows in soft wisps. She was never a fan of "side fringes" or those long fringes that end at your chin. She takes good of her hair, washes it regularly, trims it when it is needed and never charms her hair to different colors or into ringlettes, anything of that sort. It is always smooth and shining, and she has yet to have a bad hair day.
Natalija was one of those lucky girls blessed with a near perfect complexion. Her skin, pale and unable to tan like her mother's, is smooth and glows in the summer. Nasty skin problems many girls her age still battle with daily, acne, blemishes, zits and rashes are nowhere to be seen. She quite often gets asked, "How do you keep your skin like that? So...perfect?" highly amused and full of pride, she always replies with a simple 'Nothing' and smirks when they look confused.
Many marvel at the prim and proper appearances of the Lestrange girls. While others might need to spend hours on perfecting their appearance in the morning, Nat and Nikki can do as little as throw on their school clothes and go to class. Their is no doubt that the twins are both very beautiful girls. Calling them anything else would be a far cry from the truth.

History:
March 15th, 3:55 PM. The moment Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange will always remember the day their two twin daughters were born. The overzealous parents were already pointing out characteristics of themselves (though Bella had the upperhand in this) in the little girls in their arms. Of course, the birth was out of the home of the Lestranges, simply because it was not safe at all to go to St. Mungo's. The excited parents kept pointing out features on little Nikhol and Natalija, only to later hear from the maids who specialized in nursing that the dark hair may or may not change, the facial shape isn't permanent, and such things. Regardless, it was at that moment that Bellatrix Lestrange had decided that this was her new life, and she'd fend for it until the end.
As soon as the twins were taken home, the Malfoy's rushed in to greet the new girls. Rod's family was no where to be seen; no one had heard from them in over 30 years. Natalija and Nikhol had always grown up feeling that they were adored by the Malfoys and their mother, but only thought of in a minor sort by their father. They weren't entirely far off; Rod was admittedly jealous that Bellatrix was now devoting her attention to her daughters and the Dark Lord, instead of to Rod and the Dark Lord. Nikhol didn't care that her father was jealous; she loved Bella and the Malfoys more than she was sure she could ever love Rodolphus. Natalija, on the other hand was always the one latching onto Daddy's leg and following him around the house. She didn't understand why he felt this way towards her and her sister. it angered her, and she was determind to adjust his attitude, if he wouldn't himself.
Bella always had fawned over the girls Nat and Nikki were spoiled greatly by her, getting all the attention and toys they ever could have needed, let alone wanted. Anything that would satisfy their heart's desire was given to her (usually it was something materialistic), which they took in without even bothering to thank whomever was giving them something new. Rodolphus had, for the most part, disowned Nikhol and Natlija by this time, leaving Bella to raise the twins on her own. Bella was oblivious to Rod's cold behavior, nor did she care; she loved her daughters enough for the three of them.
Many times Nikhol had used her mother as a threat to her father. The two of them would argue as though there were no tomorrow. Each of these little arguements would end abpruptly when Nikhol would spill the line, "I'm going to tell my mother on you, then you'll get it". This would alway spike jealousy in Rod, which led to him leaving the room with Natalija following after him asking "What's wrong Daddy? Daddy?", letting Nikhol have the feeling she had bested over him. She used this line in her early years at Hogwarts, until she found she was too old to use the "mommy's little girl" act on everyone. Nikhol was never completely evil, per say. She'd never actually attempted to kill anyone, though she would have liked to many, many times. Her mother worked as a nice substitute for death of the unfortunate people who happened to get in her way.
While most children Nikhol and Natalija knew well were suffering with things like attempted suicide, Nikhol would much rather torment her father with the thought of her being around forever. It was somehow threatening to Rod to know his daughter would be around a lot longer than him. Being evil and strangely twisted, Rod could have just killed Nikhol before the little girl had gone off to Hogwarts, which Nikhol was sure her father dreamt of doing, but she was always under her mother's protection; protection that couldn't be crippled as long as Bellatrix Lestrange was alive.
By the age of eleven, two letters were received from Hogwarts. No surprise; Nikhol and Natlija were already showing signs of magic by then, and her parents both went to Hogwarts themselves. The girls were sent off to Hogwarts, even though her mother was reluctant in letting them both go off alone, and immediately sorted into Slytherin. The hat had barely touched the girl's soft brunette hair before the shout was heard in the school, just as their mother and father's sorting had been. They took their place haughtily at the Slytherin table, boasting about riches and other luxuries the moment they sat down. They were legendary and charismatic, making their immediate attempt to dominate the popular crowd the moment they took their place at the Slytherin table. Of course, there were questions from the teachers about the wherabouts of their parents, but Nikhol and Natlija would never tell. Not right now, anyways.
The twin's memory was profoundly astounding. They
could remember everything anyone said to them in their first year, which they used to their advantage in their second. The sequel year was a bit less exciting than the first go had been, but they were saving up the excitement for years to come. They were happy and jubilant, for they fit in and were one of the more popular and known Slytherins.
Their happy attitude would continue to follow them, even if the child-like happiness was slowly turning into pride and conceitedness. They were at home, and they knew they'd always be accepted here, if only by their Slytherin companions. Though, in their third year, something horrible happened. A teacher caught both girls off guard, slipping a drop of Verita Serum into Nikhol's and Natalija's morning drink. They had both unsuspectedly finished off the juice, then were later taken to a private room, where they were questioned about their home life. Faster than they knew it, the Ministry swept in, catching Bella and Rod off-guard, taking them in to Azkaban, easy.
Their fourth year was when the twins became noticeably different from the rest of the crowd. They were more brooding, and they weren't as social as they were when they first entered the school. Instead, they kept to themselves alone and snapped at those who dared to talk to them. It was official - something strange was happening in the Lestrange household, and there was no denying it. This attitude only worsened by fifth year.
In Nikki and Nat's sixth year, word got out that their parents were taken for being Death Eaters. Of course, this was old news to them both; they had covered this up since their 3rd year. Because of their amazing ability to lie, they was able to hide this information, even if they couldn't control their strong anger toward the Ministry and the teachers that had taken them and forced them to confess this information. Whenever people had inquired about their home life, they'd either shrug the question away, or avoid it entirely. But now in their sixth year they were getting pity looks from even the Gryffindors, which angered the girls even more. Things weren't looking bright for the teens.
Now it's Nikhol and Natlija's seventh year, and they're looking to start up the life as they want to know it. They're looking for those in power; they're thinking about who to associate with, and are certainly wondering about each of their friends. Will their situation and attitude continue to get worse and worse?
