Lying on her stomach head buried into a pillow on her bed in her dorm room, Sammy let out a slow and heavy sigh. Her eyes were closed and she was trying to sleep. Though she was just now realizing that the chances of her actually accomplishing that were small. Slowly rolling over onto her back, Sammy rubbed her eyes with the palms of her heads. Yawning, Sammy tried to figure out why she was so tired. Perhaps it was the fact she stayed out until 4 in the morning last night. Or perhaps it was the fact that for once in her life, Sammy had nothing to do and was completely and utterly bored out of her mind. Well either way it was now extremely obvious to the small brunett that there was no chance in her falling asleep.
Opening her green eyes, Sammy decided she could try going outside. After all judging from the things she had heard wandering down the halls back to the dungeon, it actually seemed like a rather nice day. And to make things better she didn't have any classes at the moment to worry about. Dressed in a pair of light jeans, and grey t-shirt with a zip up thin black hooded sweater over top, Sammy's long dark hair was down, and just for the fun of it, all of her finger nails were all painted a different color. And on her feet, Sammy wore a pair a of black flip-flop sandals. Grabbing her sunglasses off of her bed, Sammy put them on top of her head in case she needed them later. Sammy was never one to follow the dress code at Hogwarts, and even though she hated muggles, she found that their attire was much more comfortable and wore it as often as she could get away with.
With one last quick glance in the mirror, Sammy decided she was now all set to go outside, and headed out the door. Heading for the front doors of the old castle, Sammy couldn't help but let her eyes travel across the faces of the people passing her. Walking out the big wooden doors, Sammy squinted her eyes against the bright light outside. "Ooo.. Bright light..." Sammy said under her breath blinking her eyes as they adjusted to the light. Once they had however, Sammy made her way toward the lawns. She was planning on just finding a tree to sit under and sleep, and hopefully no one would bother her. But then again if they did, she couldn't really do anything about it.. Or could she?
Smirking, Sammy found herself out on the lawns in no time. Making her way to the far side, Sammy found the perfect tree to sit under today. The weather today was, good, Sammy decided. The air was cool, and there was a cool breeze coming up from the lake, but all the same, there wasn't a cloud to be seen in the blue sky. Sitting down, Sammy rested her back against the large tree. Knees bent, and her ankles crossed, Sammy let her eyes close. She wasn't really going to fall asleep, but if someone was to pass by, they may think she was. But oh well. Lost in her thoughts, Sammy wondered whether anyone would come by or not.

Some time had to go by for Oione to find this all uproaringly hilarious. Madam Pomfrey had finally let her out of the Hospital Ward and the girl immediately got drunk on her freshly regained freedom; still having her right arm and side firmly bandaged she had managed to bring herself to her usual glory somewhat; her hair was back to its shiny form pulled back with a black hairbow. Long velvety robes hid the healing injuries as Oione wandered the castle idly enjoying her weekend (unless of course you were able to enjoy such trivial thing as a weekend after having a serious conversation with Minerva McGonagall).
She raised her hand towards her cheek checking on it for the hundreth time in the past few hours. It hadn't been until today that the school matron took away the compress with the foul paste from her face and Oione still had to get used to having her skin back, not that it wasn't upleasant. There was no scar and Oione could give a sigh of relief that she wouldn't have to hook up with Hagrid out of despair.
Passing a small group of Ravenclaw first-years in the doorway of the Entrance Hall she went out on the grounds. It had been a suprisingly warm day at the beginning of golden October.

Opening her eyes slowly, Sammy let her eyes travel around her. It took a moment before she realized where she was and remembered what she was doing there. But once she had, she relaxed slightly. It seemed as though some time had passed since Sammy last closed her eyes. She figured she must have dozed off, but wasn't sure for how long. Perhaps it had only been a few minutes, but then again maybe it had been longer - Who knew. Stretching her arms out in front of her, Sammy raised a hand to her mouth to stifle a yawn. That's what sucks about falling asleep in the middle of the day, Sammy thought letting her arms fall to her sides again. You're tired for basically the rest of the day afterward.
Hearing the sound of people talking and laughing around her, Sammy gazed out across the lawns to see who it was - Though really she had no interest in whoever it was. In her opinion, laughter was only worth time or effort if it was at the expense of someone else being mocked or tormented. Letting her eyes travel across the figures across the lawns, Sammy noticed people she knew, some who she didn't and then people who she liked and people who she didn't like so much. Brushing a stray piece of dark hair out of her eyes, Sammy sighed quietly out of boredom. It really was tragic that on a day like today she couldn't muster the energy to go a find something amusing to do with her time.
Just as she was about get up and head back to the Slytherin common room to sulk in her own self pitty for not having anything to do, Sammy noticed the familiar figure of Oione Mireault. "Oione!" Sammy called across the grounds to where the other Slytherin girl was. Sammy waved one hand toward the other girl so that she would know who had called her name - Well that was if she had heard her at all. Waiting to see if Oione would even notice her, Sammy remained sitting under the big tree. No point in getting up if she hadn't even noticed Sammy yet. That would just be a waist of energy she would need to will herself to get up afterward.

The girl stopped dead in her tracks. Chang mentioned Muggles having heart attacks and Oione was quite certain that was how it felt like. Lately, whenever her name was being called out it was followed by 'that's a detention', '20 points from Slytherin', 'Oione, stop that at once' or 'Mireault, what do you think you're doing?'; those simply were by-products of having Seth Eugene Silver as your 'best mate', even though she hated the phrase alone; it made her feel as though she was some slurring Irish boy from Limerick instead of a pure-blood, respected witch. Everyone had their quirks.
Quickly she turned around to see who was the one calling her and grinned immediately as she made out Samantha Ashby's silhuoette in the autumn sunrays. "Sam?" she asked, squinting for certainity."Is that you?" And it was. Oione's spirits rose immediately. Finally someone normal to talk to, it was almost refreshing.
((oh, rubbish))

Sammy watched with some amusement as Oione froze in place. It was no secret to most of the Slytherin's... Well actually most of the school that recently, Oione had been getting into more trouble... Thanks to the infamous Seth Silver. And that recently, one of their so called squabbles, ended them both in the hospital wing with McGonagall yelling at them. Sammy wasn't quite sure when Seth had got out of the hospital wing, or if he was still there. But, she hadn't seen Oione in days and she figured that meant she must have just got out herself. Brushing a piece of stray dark hair out of her green eyes, Sammy waited for Oione to turn around, as it was now obvious that she had heard the small Slytherin girl call her name.
"Sam?" she asked, squinting for certainly."Is that you?"
Smiling at the question, Sammy was sure, Oione would know it was her already, but decided to answer her anyways. "Why yes it is Oione dearest," the small brunette said with a smile. "The one and only," she added more conceitedly. Smirking, Sammy stood up and brushed random pieces of grass off of her pants. Dropping her hands back to her sides, Sammy walked toward Oione. "Who'd you think it would be?" Sammy asked still smiling. As she neared where Oione was, Sam scowled at a first year Ravenclaw who had run into her while they were running away from of of their friends. Observing, Sammy figured the Ravenclaw to be playing a game muggle's called tag. Personally she had never played the game, not wanting to get involved with something that had anything to do with muggles. Turning away from the game, Sammy walked over to Oione. "Long time no see," she comment casually.

"Why yes it is Oione dearest,"
Hearing this she have a short laugh, wincing slightly as the freshly regained skin on her cheek stretched a little too much. It was alright now, though. People like her should be accustomed to pain for they provoked it most of the time, getting enough exercise pushing their luck. Indeed it was good to see Samantha again, in her black flip-flops and a holiday outfit (or 'muggle rags' as Oione called them) suddenly making even the sun a little brighter. Being a born optimist, she let the insufferable thought of having detentions with Snape slide somewhere far, far away so that it wouldn't be thought much of, at least until it was time to appear before the dungeon door; she vaguely wondered if Sam knew that she and Seth lost one hundred and five points from Slytherin, but since she was smiling Oione reckoned that she did not.
"Who'd you think it would be?" Oione placed her fingers under her chin mocking thoughtfulness. "Hmmm...let me think...McGonagall? Sprout? Any teacher in fact? Or perhaps some mudblood that's just begging to get killed" she said, knitting her brows lightly as though trying to remember some long list. "The possibilities are endless"
"Long time no see," "Been to busy distroying my surroundings" the girl grinned wickedly.

"Hmmm...let me think...McGonagall? Sprout? Any teacher in fact? Or perhaps some mudblood that's just begging to get killed" she said, knitting her brows lightly as though trying to remember some long list. "The possibilities are endless"
Sam couldn't help but smile at Oione's comment. "One could only hope for the latter," Sammy said calmly though her hatred for all mudbloodes and muggles in general was strong and well known through out the school. "Having some trouble with the professors? Or is that all in thanks of Seth?" Sammy asked her eyebrows arching slightly in question. Although the small Slytherin did in fact know about the points that Oione and Seth had lost from Slytherin, she wasn't to concerned about it. It wasn't like her foremost purpose in life was to make sure that Slytherin one the house cup. Sure it was a bonus and it meant that she could rub it in the faces of all the sniveling Gryffindors, but if that was all she was after, then she would have made her opinion clear long before.
"Been to busy destroying my surroundings" the girl grinned wickedly.[/i]
At this, Sammy couldn't help but laugh. She had to admit, she loved Oione to death and was always looking forward to hearing about her next exciting adventure. "Oh really? With out me?" Sammy asked sarcastically. Grinning, Sammy's eyes shone slightly with mischief. And that's like one of my favorite pastimes," the girl added smirking slightly. "Oh well I guess I'll live," she added, though the grin that she was trying so hard to conceal was probably giving away the fact she was only joking.
((Pfft.. my post is horrible. Sorry....))[/size]

"One could only hope for the latter" Oione nodded simply. Sam was, just like many other Slytherins, a well-known muggle born hater and in fact Oione did not differ much from this schema. She had been taught to loathe all things that were muggle or came from them before she could speak. "Having some trouble with the professors? Or is that all in thanks of Seth?" You can say that again, though Oione. "Well, truth to be told I owe half of the trouble to myself" she admitted, a little reluctantly as she was rather prompt on accusing Seth of all the problems. Of course, the bigger part of it was his fault, or at least the girl liked to think it was. "I'm having detentions with Snape until he sees fit to leave me alone. And I have to keep my grades on Acceptable minimum if i want to play Quidditch" Oh God I didn't know it sounded that terrible when said aloud, mentally Oione swallowed hard. "Oh really? With out me?" Now Oione laughed. Ha, it was great meaning up with Samantha after all. She was one of the very few people in her own house (and in the school, actually) that did not have Oione Cassandra Mireault listed as an arch-nemesis. It was odd, but the 5th year seemed to make enemies in the speed of light without even trying much. Not that she complained since she was one to enjoy a good fight. "Next time I'll take you with me" she said winking, but with an air of someone who was ready to make and Unbreakable Vow. "Promise"
((sorry that it took so long and that it sucks))
