Jordan Jackson was your typical teenaged, Slytherin boy. Rarely fallowing the school rules, always getting into some form of trouble, also never really thinking about much except evil, darkness, and girls. It was Friday afternoon, some time after four he thought. Jordan was out and about wandering around near the lake looking for something he could do. He was wearing his washed-colored baggy jeans and his black with little lime-green strips polo shirt. Oh and of course his black fitted hat, that he wore the rim of slightly to one side.
Jordan had a hand full of rocks in one hand, and with the other would pick one at a time and throw it into the lake. It wasn't really that much fun, but it was something to do to waist time. As he ran out of rocks to throw he pulled out his wand as he spotted a fog a few feet in front of him. He started casting spells at it, causing it to do many different things. It changed from green to hot pink. Instead of jumping, it walked on two feet. And instead of eating flies, it was now eating a block of cheese. Jordan was getting more amused with the little fog as he made it to more ridiculous things. He was so concentrated on the fog the he would never really notice if anyone were to approach him. Jordy continued to 'play' with the frog, making it do more funny things each time.

Fawn quietly strode toward the lake, her knee-length black dress swaying on her slender frame. The 2 inch black straps came up over her shoulders and made the navy blue shirt she was wearing underneath the dress stand out more. It wasn't like Fawn really cared though, if she did she wouldn't have worn the shirt. Her signature piece, her almost knee-length black boots, were yet again upon her feet. You couldn't recognize Fawn without them. Well, you could. All this girl was was a loner. Nothing more, nothing less. Very few people knew Fawn, most just saw her as the wanderer. Maybe that was really all that she was, just a wandering spirit with nothing to live for.
Her long dark blond hair was loose across her face today, she didn't want to pull it up. Did she ever want to do anything anymore? No, no she really didn't. Quietly she continued approaching the lake, her large brown eyes scanned the sky boredly. She ran into Jordan and tripped backwards landing on her side. "Sorry, sorry," she muttered standing up and brushing herself off, "Err... are you okay?" She questioned him while she began to brush herself off.

Being totally concentrated on the frog in front of him he never saw Fawn approach him. As she ran into him and fell backward, he turned he's his head around to look at her. As she stated she was sorry multiple times, he smiled. "Don't worry about, I'm not hurt, and hopefully your not." he told her. Jordan turned his attention back to the frog, but noticed it was no longer in front of him.
"Ya I'm OK, just a bit bored that's all. Are you OK?" he asked, as he didn't really know what else to ask. Jordan turned around so that he was facing her. Still siting on the ground, and wand still in his hand. Though he wasn't planning on doing anything to her, but having a simply good friendly conversation.

[Eep, I was going to reply to this thread, but it seems Fawn beat me to it. Ah, well, I'll reply anyways.]
'What should I do today?' The question rang in the green-hooded girl's mind over and over again as she lay on her bed in her dorm, eyes boring holes into the green velvet canopy. Any longer in this room and Nikhol just might tear her eyes out. It wasn't that she didn't like the common room; no, in fact, it was one of the few places Nikhol felt like she fit in to. No, what really got her today was that she had nothing to do. Absolutely nothing at all. It was a Saturday, which meant no classes. Of course, Nikhol had already finished her homework yesterday. She was always one to skip hanging out with her friends for finishing off class work. Wouldn't you do the same if you needed to learn everything ever taught to you? Yes, I think you would, and if you deny it, there's something very wrong with you. Well, there was something wrong with Nikhol; she was going insane with boredom. In fact, she was so insanely disturbed by the lack of activity, she started to sing to herself. Nikhol never sang. Ever. She hated it when other girls sang, for none of them were any good, and she hated hypocrisy even more. Finally realizing what she was doing, she shut her mouth quickly, knowing it was then and there that she had to leave the room or something worse might happened.
Outside. Yes, that had to be the answer. Nikhol always thought a little fresh air would clear the mind (although, it had never worked for her), and a clear mind was exactly what she needed right now. Skipping every other step as she raced with her shadow up from the dungeons and out into the main foyer of Hogwarts, people stared as she shoved past everyone, practically running through Hogwarts. Nikhol had to get out of this castle. She had to. If she didn't, she truly would go insane. The stuffiness of the building was practically beating on her head like a drum, giving her a small yet infuriating headache. Finally reaching the outdoors, she stopped suddenly as she jumped the last few steps, causing several people to crash into her. "Watch it," she barked, glaring coldly at the unfortunate non-Slytherins. Had she been in a worse mood (or perhaps been herself, not the lunatic that suffered from indoor craziness), those people probably would have gotten a jinx or two shot at their feet, but that was obviously not going to happen today.
Now that she was outside, all she wanted to do was run. Run far, run fast. As fast as she could, even. Opening her arms wide and taking a deep breath of the clean air, she, quick as a flash, took off across the grounds. Boy, was she fast. Faster than even the captain of the Quidditch team, perhaps? Nikhol had thought about joining the team, but it was just too stupid. Flying on broomsticks wasn't a sport, nor will it ever be. Though being a beater might be quite fun ... No, no, Nikhol had banished those thoughts from her mind long ago. Never would she think such retarded things again. Instead, she stopped on a dime as she reached the forest. She thought about going in many, many times. She had, once, with Natalija, but that adventure ended when Nikhol had chickened out when she heard some kind of noise. Poor Natalija. She always wanted to do such fun things, but Nikki had always been too afraid to let her. Though, Nikki wasn't going in alone, so she turned around and took off toward the lake.
Oh, shit. There were other people there. Great, just what Nikki needed. To be social and crazy at the same time. Well, at least she felt a little better. Running had cured her headache (it always did), and she wasn't feeling so insane anymore. Only a few more minutes and she was sure she'd be back to normal. Almost sure, for she never knew if things would go as planned, especially around other people. At least Natalija was nowhere in sight; things always went askew around her. Anyway, she wasn't there, for that Nikhol was actually thankful, for instead she saw Jordan and some girl she knew not of.
Almost instantly, jealousy spiked in her. Slowing down to a leisurely pace (as to not make it seem as though she were running toward the pair, which, in fact, she was, however indirectly it had been), her eyes flicked to the girl's badge as soon as it came in clear sight. Ravenclaw, Nikki thought bitterly as she neared them. Ravenclaw was supposed to be a sort of ally with Slytherin, for many Ravenclaws weren't the goody-goodies they came out to be. A few of them had used their wits in devious and cunning ways, making them fit in rather nicely with the Slytherin crowd. Nikhol knew of one particular Ravenclaw that was so like herself that they hated each other; Ucchi. But Nikhol never spoke of her. The resemblance was too much to endure.
Now she had made a complete stop on Jordan's right, facing the Ravenclaw. Maybe she was like them, though she highly doubted. Though, just in case this girl was a potential ally, Nikki didn't say anything mean to her. Yet, at least. Instead she turned her attention to Jordan, who was sitting on the ground just below her. Most unfortunately, Nikhol had never taken the time to change out of her school uniform, her skirt not being the most wonderful thing to any man in Jordan's position. Being fully aware of this, Nikki took a step away from Jordan, yet she was still close enough to talk to him normally. "Hello, Jordan," she said, overly fond, for she had to get the message through to this Ravenclaw that she liked Jordan, making him off-limits to anyone else.

As Jordan sat on the ground waiting for Fawn to say something, he sat in silence. He didn't even notice that Nikhol had come up behind hind him. Though in his mind he was hoping she would. As Fawn still hadn't said anything Jordan looked away from her, started to look around for that frog. He didn't see which way it had went when Fawn first came, but was now determined to find it. It took no more then a few seconds to find it as the frog was still walking on two feet, because that was the last thing he had made it do.
Just as he was about to get up, he heard someone say hello. He turned his head around to see who it was. Not really to his surprise he saw Nikhol. Jordan smiled up to her. "Why hello you." he said in a rather playfully manner. She was still in here school robes, he noticed and the only solution to that was she was working on her homework again right after school. Jordan was different, he didn't like doing his right after school, the first thing he normally did was change out of his robes.
"And what bring such a fine lady like your self down the lake?" he asked. Jordan was glad that she had come down to the lake, though he didn't really want to say that out loud. Brae got up and gave her a big friendly hug. He was in one of those moods that all he wants to do is joke around and have some fun.

Anyways, sorry for the delay; just started school. >.<]
"Why hello you."
At Jordan's words, Nikki couldn't help but smirk over at the other girl. Just in the way he'd greeted Nikhol as opposed to the way the Ravenclaw and Jordan weren't exchanging any words was enough for her to feel as though she didn't lose her place and that Jordan would still much rather hang out with Nikhol than whomever this Ravvie thought she was. Nikhol was always terrified of being replaced by new people. She hated when her friends made new friends, for she had lost so many in her childhood because of change of classes, moving, and other such things. She hated it when her friends started hanging out with other people instead of her, since that usually meant her "friends" liked this new person better. It was something Nikhol loathed, and since then she's tried her best to make sure she never ever lost a "friend" to anyone else.
"And what bring such a fine lady like your self down the lake?"
Nikhol shrugged. The lake hadn't been the chosen destination, but after a moment or so, she'd finally decided to end her happy run at the lake. "Just followed my feet, I suppose," she said, darting her eyes back at the Ravenclaw. Maybe, if Nikhol didn't try to be nice to her, she'd go away. Oh, how Nikhol would love that. That would show her. Of course, there were numerous things that would have shown this girl, but Nikki would love it if the girl felt like she didn't belong and had to leave. That was the truth, wasn't it? Ravenclaws don't belond with Slytherins; Hufflepuffs don't belong with Slytherins; Gryffindors don't belong with Slytherins; only Slytherins belonged with Slytherins. It was in their nature to stick together like a wolf pack; don't mingle and you won't be hunted by your own.
At Jordan's hug, Nikki couldn't help but smirk back over at the girl again. For some reason, she was finding a huge delight in the fact the girl was getting snubbed since Nikki showed her face. Then again, it wasn't that odd, since Nikki loved snubbing other people for her benefit. Blocking out the blue-hood in front of her, she inquired of her friend, "And what might such a handsome man be doing all the way down here playing with a little Ravenclaw?" Predjudice? Hell yes, Nikki was definitely all that represented house predjudice, and she intended to make sure anyone that crossed her path knew it.
[woo, that was short.]

Watching as Nikhol shrugged her should, Jordan smiled. As she stated that she that she had just simply followed her feet he had thoughts running through his mind. Even if she didn't have a reason for why she had come down to the lake, Jordan was glad she did. Not that Fawn wasn't a nice girl, he just simply had a better relationship with Nikki. Ever since that day, back a few months now, that they had a great time chatting up in the common room, Jordan's found knew interest in the girl. She's smart, pretty, and has an evil side to her, just like he did.
As Jordan sat there looking at both the girls, he noticed the little looks Nikhol was shooting at the ravenclaw girl, and he could only imagine what was going through her head at the moment. Jordan gave a slight laugh as to what she had said. "Playing with a little ravenclaw?" he echoed, Jordan could've said something that would have made her probably really mad, but he wasn't about to do that to one of his good friends. "Well for your information, i wasn't playing with a little ravenclaw." He stated, the pulled away from the hug.
Jordan looked around for the frog that he had been playing with before he continued to talk. It took him a few until he found one that was doing something totally, and utterly bizarre. Walking over Jordan picked up the frog then turned back to Nikki. "I was play with this frog, then Fawn ran into me. You see." he said as he walked back over to Nikhol. Jordan smiled as he held out the frog in front of her. He wasn't quite sure how she would react to it, but thought it was fun anyways.
Ashe remembered that she had called him handsome, he could let a perfectly good opportunity to be totally conceited slide away. "And you are right, i am handsome. Aren't i?" he stated with a smile. Jordan was known around for being rather conceited at times, and well this was a perfectly good example of one.
((sorry it's short love, i don't know what else to say...))

[Not a problem. (:]
It wasn't that Nikhol was territorial (necessarily), though she had been told she was very much so, but it was the mere fact that one of her friends was associating with someone who Nikhol wasn't entirely fond of. No, she had nothing against Fawn, per say, but it was the fact that Fawn was a Ravenclaw, not a Slytherin. Any non-Slytherin was a potential enemy, most often becoming an actual one. Yes, Nikki was very cold and didn't accept new people with the most kind manner. In fact, if a Slytherin wasn't like her, chances are they'd be shunned from the opportunity of fitting in with the rest of the house.
"Playing with a little ravenclaw? Well for your information, i wasn't playing with a little ravenclaw."
Right after he'd finished his sentence, Nikhol realized she had never hugged Jordan back. She'd gotten caught up in glaring at the other girl she'd completely forgotten to respond to Jordan in that manner. Ah, well, he didn't seem to notice this either, so she turned her attention to his sentence. Ah, so now he was admitting he wasn't friends with this girl. Score two for Nikki. If it wasn't obvious before that the Ravenclaw wasn't welcome here, it definitely was now. "Well, good," she said, "since I don't think this girl seems worthy of your time."
Nikki frowned as Jordan started to search for something. Was he ignoring her? Rude. Oh, wonderful, he'd found a frog. Nikki hated frogs. They were slimy and gross and she had no idea how anyone could want to keep one as a pet. "I was play with this frog, then Fawn ran into me. You see." Her eyes darted back to the Ravenclaw. "On purpose?" she inquired, raising an eyebrow. But the question was mostly rhetorical, for the cat seemed to have had Fawn's tongue, for which Nikhol was thankful.
Oh, how wonderful! Jordan was going to wave the frog in Nikhol's face! Just perfect. Her frown of disgust deepened as he brought the wretched thing closer to her. "What a wonderful creature. They're so useful, I just can't stand it," she drawled sarcastically, fumbling for her wand in her pocket. Finding it, she drew the long stick of ebony from her pocket, racking her brain for what to do with it. Finally deciding on something she said quickly, "But I think the best thing for this little burden is to vanish." With a quick swish of her wand, the frog had turned into a cricket and hopped from Jordan's grasp off into the distance. It was very simple Transfiguration. Nikki's best subject was Transfiguration, excluding Potions. It was so easy. She had no idea how people could struggle with it.
"And you are right, i am handsome. Aren't i?"
Nikki barely noticed this comment was rather narcissist. All Slytherins were and they had been desensitized to this type of behavior. Instead, they took the conceited sentence in as if it were normally said and replied in such a manner. That was exactly what Nikhol had done in this case, though she had figured out that the question was rhetorical. Even so, she'd answer. "Of course you are. I would never be seen with someone who wasn't."

Ok so if it wasn't totally obvious already, yes Jordan does like Nikki, would he admit to it, sure why not. He didn't know what it was about her that mad him so attracted to her, but it was obvious that there was a connection between then two of them, well at least he thought. Hugging Nikhol, felt so right, and so warm. Jordan truly wanted to express his feeling to her, but didn't want to ruin a perfectly good friendship of she didn't feel the same way.
Having admitted the whole truth to her Jordan felt good. The was no way in hell he could ever lie to Nikki, and hoped she would never lie to him either. Turning his attention to Fawn for a quick second he too noticed that she hadn't said anything in a long time. Hearing Nikhol talk again Jordie was quick to return his attention back to her. He smiled as she clearly stated something of the Truth. Of coarse anyone and everyone knew Jordan likes to flirt with people, and especially with Nikhol. "Well could you please remind me of someone who is then?" he stated back as though he had no idea of anyone. Of coarse he could think of one person that he thought would be, but he wanted to see what she would say.
Since the very minute he walked down to the lake, he had one person in mind that he wanted to find. Nikhol, who else. He wanted to be alone with her, like they were the other day. They had had so much fun, that he never wanted it to end. But like every day it had to, bummer...Though today was only Friday, and he would get to spend the whole weekend with her, for some reason or another he still wanted to have her all to himself right now and there. But there was one little problem with that, Fawn was still there. Though Jordan had clearly seen most, if not all the looks and little hints that Nikki had given her, it was clear to him that Fawn hadn't. He was trying his fastest to think of way that they could ditch the little ravie, but nothing came to mind.
"Well i don't blame you, i wouldn't be seen with anyone who wasn't either." he smiled as he looked her directly in the eyes. If it was anyone beside Nikhol standing there right now in front of him, he probably would have been a complete ass. But she brought out a different side to him, one that he didn't even know he had in him. Suddenly an idea came to mind, and idea of how they could ditch the ravie. He had remembered she was still in her school robes as he figured she probably was doing her homework right after classes had finished again. Smiling once more he asked. "Would you like to do get changed?" as he finished talking he winked, hoping she would understand that he wanted to leave, though he knew she would have no problem with that.
((sry it probably sucks.....))

On several occassions, Jordan and Nikhol had run into each other accidentally. Today would seem like an accident, but it certainly wasn't. The moment Nikhol stepped on the luscious green grass, her mind had been set to find Jordan, however subconscious that notation had been. But, no matter what, he was always subliminally on her mind. She liked him, after all. It wasn't really a secret, either. It wasn't something she'd openly talk about with anyone, she didn't hide it. She'd say it over and over again until she didn't have to even hide it in the least, if ever that would happen.
"Well could you please remind me of someone who is then?"
At this Nikhol looked as though she was thinking hard, while her face slowly morphed into that of silliness. Her eyes flicked upward as her mouth twisted into a smirk of someone who wasn't really evil. "I think I could do that," she said, delaying her answer, though it was completely obvious. "What about .... me?" she said slowly, ending it like a little girl asking for a toy she saw in a shop window.
"Well i don't blame you, i wouldn't be seen with anyone who wasn't either."
If that wasn't a hint Nikhol could pick up, nothing was. "Oh, you're too kind!" she said, acting like a lady who barely got compliments. To add to it, she even fanned herself with her hand, as though she was flushed with pride. Even still, this wasn't really new knowledge. Nikhol knew that Jordan had at least minute feelings for her, though she liked to be dramatic and sometimes even a little silly, like she felt right now.
"Would you like to do get changed?"
Nikhol blinked, her jaw almost dropping. "With you?" she said, very loud and even a bit stupidly. That was something she definitely did not expect him to say, and she always was at least 90% sure of what was about to come out of his mouth. It was for that fake percentage that she rethought what he said several times. It wasn't until she noticed Fawn still standing there that she understood. But she still wanted to hear Jordan's answer to her surprised question, so she kept a look of shock and confusion about her face.
